Are we talking hot,or this stifiling hard to breathe or do anything hot. As the line in Ferris Bullers' it's Africa
HOT. the electic bills will be going through the roof to let in more heat and then what drought, after one of the nastiest winters on record, Global warming,Polar Bears starving,and finally they took the carraige horses off the streets before they to dropped dead of the heat.Cars over heating and one thankful fact is that the city has basically behaved it'self and for that we deserve a pat on the back except it hurts to much from uber sunburn.

I was at those shows, but I also saw the Kinks in that little hotbox in August of 79 and we swore that there was sweat dripping from the ceiling ... and that was even before we were projectile-vomited upon from behind. Ah, the good old days.

We had our heat in May.
Today will only be 93 and the relative humidity is holding steady at 89%. If only it would stay like this till Sept.

While never a BBhead, there's a certain nostalgia for me. As the middle child, it was I who rode in the back-back of the station wagon for a thousand miles each way each summer while Pops cranked his BB "Live in London" 8-track the whole time, excepting for minor breaks with "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii" .

I dig the Beach Boys. I just think their appearance with the Dead that night was kind of a disaster.
